Mandate
The Electrical Engineer works in a team with other Engineers and Technicians to design, prepare and execute automation and control projects.
Your role
- Prepare technical specifications including user needs analysis, functional analysis and design specifications for automated industrial systems and equipment
- Design low-voltage electrical distribution and control panels
- Carry out the commissioning of automated systems from an engineering point of view
- Supervise electrical contractors
- Check control panel
- Provide support to customers regarding delivered systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, automated production or training deemed equivalent
- Good knowledge of the Quebec Electrical Code
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience
- English and French spoken and written
- Member in good standing of the OIQ
- Mobility for occasional commissioning (mainly in the Montreal metropolitan area).
